.. skyrises or huge buildings. Instead, it's an interesting neighbourhood with small design shops and patiserrie.
Didn't know where to eat particular and just felt like eating traditional meal so we stopped by this place and went in.
Someone was hugnry.. hehe. The green noodle is actually the tea noodle.
This is a place where you could get some traditional pottery.
This is the famous La Vita of Jiyuugaoka. It's a very small Venetian style shopping complex.
But it's actually a bit quiet here.. not many stores here. Most of the existing stores are pet grooming shops or salons/spa.
There's a very traditional-looking Japanese teahouse across the street from the La Vita. You have to walk through a garden to get to the entrance. Heard from a friend it's good (after our visit).
Lupica - a Japanese brand of blended tea with a large store in the neighbourhood (we were just walking sort of aimlessly around the neighbourhood). They even have a series of tea designed for the Christmas season.
The shops in the Jiyuugaoka neighbourhood are all pretty exquisit. Many are patisserie, design shops or
There are also quite a few cozy-looking stores - this is the famous Blue Bottle coffee stall in a homeware store called Today's Special.
This multi-story modern complex has a florist, some househoold goods and also a gallery-like patisserie - the Rituel par Christophe Vasseur.
You could see fresh bread being made here.
The streets in Jiyuugaoka. Relaxing and quiet.
Also a famous attraction - the Sweets Forest. You could get all kinds of dessert here.
Fancy for some dessert? Maybe because we went on a weekend, it was rather quiet there.
On the way back to the metro station.
